Description:
This subject studio project is focusing on the narrative aspect of architecture. The design is based on a family drama. The house is presented as a miniature urban, with 3 groups of autonomous spatial forms organized by central circulation. The divergent spatial relationship showcases the different stages of family relationships from bottom to top.
The core of the story revolves around the older brother who has autism, along with the ever-evolved family relationship tied by guilty and love. As the residents get increasingly independent over time, the relationship between the three groups of family members becomes more and more alienated reflected in spatial organization. A question was raised during the process, “What is the true bond of a family?“ The central circulation is demonstrated as the physical bond architecturally and the emotional bond for the family in nature.

该课程设计专注于建筑的叙事性。基于一个家庭剧，住宅被呈现为一个微型城市。3组由中央交通组织的发散且独立的空间关系，从下到上，体现了家庭关系的变化。
故事的核心围绕着患有自闭症的哥哥，以及由内疚和爱联系在一起的不断发展的家庭关系展开。随着时间的推移，居民的独立性越来越强，三组家庭成员之间的关系也越发疏离。在此过程中，问题“什么是真正的家庭纽带?”显现出来，建筑中的核心交通被呈现为建筑上的物理联系和家庭本质上的情感纽带。
Family Story:
Ten years before, the parents lived with two sons. The older son was 8-year-old, and the younger son was 3-year-old. life has become more difficult when the older son was diagnosed with Autism. The parents decided to send the older son to the hospital because of their incapability for taking good care of him.
Separated by ten years, the parents decided to bring the older son back home. However, no one expected that the younger son never learned to share ownership with a 'stranger'. The parents’ extra care, guilty, and love for the older brother trigger the younger son’s rebellion and discontent.
After the numerous conflicts and running-in period, the two brothers finally accepted each other and decided to support each other with the efforts of their parents. The family has rebounded together again.
